RIP Rush Limbaugh

Bad news indeed... RIP Rush.

Last year, President Trump had awarded him the Presidential Medal of Freedom at the State of the Union. He was sitting with Mrs Trump in the audience and she presented the medal to him I think.

Listening to Rush helped/pushed me into running my first political race. His thoughts on poverty and what the war on poverty did to Kentucky helped form my initial legislative reasoning. I wonder how many people he influenced their political leanings. He truly was a Political and Cultural Titian! Rush is in GOD's Glory now. I pray the Lord comforts his family and love ones. JC

Many happy memories listening to El Rushbo during morning commutes. Always delivered an uplifting and positve message to those who would listen. Sure he was bent to the right and was passionate to a fault but he was always brutally honest and did not mince words. RIP Rush, you will be missed but your accomplishments over your career will be an inspiration to many.
On an side note, I mentioned the passing of Rush to my Class today and I only got blank stares back. Albeit the Cohort is quite small, 7 students but not one of them had ever heard of Rush. Most of the class are at least one to two years out of high school. I know they all know who Chance the Rapper is though:(

A sad day for sure!

RIP El Rushbo. THE voice of conservatism most of my adult life. Even if you didn't agree with him, his opinions were always well thought out and reasoned. I will miss his thoughts and his voice. My kids even know who he is.

Like spike daddy said, really classy loser....those people always make themselves look ignorant, so easily...rush is irreplaceable, whether you loved his message or hated it, he was smart, called it like it was, commanded attention, great radio voice, he will be so missed...
