last week our local dealership replaced both engine risers & sensors. when they started, the port engine overheated within 5 mins. I've never experienced overheating with my engines before (175' all day long). I check my instruments all the time. CO error codes were driving me crazy, therefore we decided to replace both engine risers. Almost five years old, she was commissioned in 2016. The starboard engine is fine, no overheating issues yet.

- They've installed risers/gaskets incorrectly?
- Faulty Thermostat / but it was OK before
- Risers were badly rusted, when they removed them maybe some broken parts blocking the freshwater cooling system
- or maybe small broken rusty riser particles blocking the freshwater pump
