Ya, she might be a male or might be a female. In either case definitely a squatter and the only 'magazine' she should be concerned with is Good Housekeeping.;)

I'm up in here Canada, my buddy just bought a shiny new Mini 14 for his cottage (won't even have it in the city) - our GOV just put it on the "no can have" list ... he had to sell it back. It happens here .... it could happen down there ....
 
Yep, the most violent cities with the highest rate of gun crimes all have the strictest gun laws. Furthermore, most mass shootings happen where firearms are prohibited. Why is that? No fear of being shot back at. Once police get there they usually shrivel up and cry like a baby. First sign of resistance and they quit. I can promise you that the majority of law abiding CCW holders would do whatever they could in an active shooter scenario if the opportunity presented itself and their family or others would not be in danger. That does present it's own issues but a little training and common sense can mitigate those issues (awareness of backstop/what's beyond your target, accuracy, ensuring your target really is the bad guy and not another CCW holder trying to intervene, etc.). We were trained if you are off duty and in that situation tell whoever calls 9-1-1 to give them your description and as soon as police arrive drop your weapon and 'surrender' to protect yourself until they sort it out. Remember, they don't know if you are the good guy or the bad guy.

I notice you didn't say anything about the dreaded "Assault" weapon this time; thank you. Please read this article about the Boise Man Mass Stabbing Suspect from my home town, then explain away what would have happened if the rest of those apartment tenants had been CCWs. I can guarantee to you all that, were I to find myself in a situation where someone was stabbing children, I'd drop that person without hesitation. Do we do background checks for knives? Sure, you can argue it's only a mentally incompetent person would do something like this, but that's no reason not to act. Pay particular attention to the picture of little three-year-old Ruya Kadir, who died two days after being stabbed during her birthday party. Let that burn into your brain. And no, he didn't use a gun!

Sorry but I know when I'm speaking to a wall and there's no point in trying to reply. I know when there's just no point, until the gun lobby and gun owners like you recognize the fact that mentally ill people are killing thousands of innocent children and adults nothing will change. I really find it sick that you wouldn't even agree to background checks to weed out people that should never have a gun. someday when enough women are in Congress you will see gun control and I guarantee it.

So if so called "assault" weapons are banned, what's to stop the mentally ill from using a hand gun instead?

When purchasing in most states checks are already done. Enforce the laws on the books don't add new ones. Have a great day. Address the illness. Adding more gun laws will not help fix the problem, how about we have laws outlawing mentally ill people. :) (That was a joke)

As you can see mentally ill are already ineligible to buy a gun under federal law.

Ineligible Persons

The following classes of people are ineligible to possess, receive, ship, or transport firearms or ammunition:

Those convicted of crimes punishable by imprisonment for over one year, except state misdemeanors punishable by two years or less.
Fugitives from justice.
Unlawful users of certain depressant, narcotic, or stimulant drugs.
Those adjudicated as mental defectives or incompetents or those committed to any mental institution.
Illegal aliens.
Citizens who have renounced their citizenship.
Those persons dishonorably discharged from the Armed Forces.
Persons less than 18 years of age for the purchase of a shotgun or rifle.
Persons less than 21 years of age for the purchase of a firearm that is other than a shotgun or rifle.
Persons subject to a court order that restrains such persons from harassing, stalking, or threatening an intimate partner.
Persons convicted in any court of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.
Persons under indictment for a crime punishable by imprisonment for more than one year are ineligible to receive, transport, or ship any firearm or ammunition. Under limited conditions, relief from disability may be obtained from the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury, or through a pardon, expungement, restoration of rights, or setting aside of a conviction.

Yeah... somebody start another political thread so Mary will have something to post about. She (it) obviously didn't come here to learn about Sea Ray boats.
 
So I am looking for a 370 Sundancer. Where is the best place to mount my AR?
 
Lag bolt it into the hull.......
Make sure to use silicone sealant too... We don't want any leaks.

Disclaimer: I'm not a boat builder nor did I stay at a holiday inn express last night.
