We left our boat there for a month. Yes, lots of places nearby. Just gotta watch out for container ships rolling downriver.

So, you found Rusty waiting on you? Get used to it.....that will happen nearly every morning on your trip.

And, yes, you and your son will get a lesson in how to talk and understand "Southern".

Enjoy the trip and the "Rusty" experience......he will teach you more in a few days than you will learn at "SeaSchool" for a month.

Not only has Rusty taught me seamanship but I’ve found out over some trips he’s a bit of a historian every morning leaving port I would get a lesson on that part of the state etc. make sure your sons ears are wide open when Rustys speaking.
