Keep Track of Rising Prices

My daughter owns a bunch of rentals. She had one that was violating the lease due to animals but she couldn't evict them. They finally moved out but left the place a mess. I was up there today helping her get it ready.

I got one right now, haven't paid rent in 10 months plus distroying the apartment claims he's not working but he's self employed and gone everyday and I can't get him evicted. In to me for close to $10000.00 right now!
And he will vote Democrat ....that’s the goal at any cost

Yeah, but atrick is “rich” you see, so it’s justified. o_O:rolleyes:

I wish, just want to retire in peace but people won't let me, always a fight somewhere!!

Hey Ollie, there's a young Honduran women and a couple little kids living in your cabin...she wants to know if she can use your boat.:p

So "Mary", from that link you sent us; "...hoping to work at a non-profit or government agency that serves disadvantaged youth." While that's admirable, it's probably not going to pay the bills, as she's finding out. Then, "Newly minted grads often struggle to land better-paying jobs because they're not paying enough attention to the job market, (emphasis added) said Christine Cruzvergara, vice president of higher education and student success at Handshake, a San Francisco company that helps recent grads find their first or second jobs." ...not paying enough attention to the job market... that pretty much sums up the problem with the low-paying jobs based on their choice of education.

Friends son just got layed off from his job after 5 months. We mentioned a few places that were hiring and told him we could get him in the one place for sure and it pays very well. He said his son wants to sit back and collect the free gov't money and not work for awhile. The mentality of a 25 year old...ugh

Rashida Tlaib says one time "survival" payments of $2,000 aren't enough because "bills keep coming". She tweeted that we need "$2,000 per month survival payments" from the govt. What the f%ck is a survival payment? Sounds like welfare. Good luck finding employees under her plan. I have an idea: If you are out of work, stop spending money. I was unemployed for 2 years. We cut our budget by 75% - only food, housing and education. We managed without "survival" payments. So don't tell me it can't be done.

If you think a .6% jump in CPI is a problem, wait until the libtards stuff their "infrastructure" bill down our throats. I don't care what the Fed says or does, double digit inflation is coming. Anybody remember 21% mortgage rates in the late 70's and early 80s? I remember my parents refinancing to the low rate of 16%. I guess there is an upside, it will bust the housing bubble. Probably the boating bubble as well.

We lived through the great inflation. We had a lot of debt to income when it started. From 1978 to 1982 my salary went up by a factor of 3. House values went up by a factor of 2. Beer went from 50 cents in a bar to $2 with tip. Inflation saved us as we stopped spending until debt was reduced. If we had of had savings or were living on a non indexed pension we would have been very poor. My father retired in 1973 and by 1983 his pension had gone up by a factor of 4. If he not had a government pension he would have been in trouble. I do not see salaries going up the way they did before. The middle class is slowly being replaced by "Just getting by". If interest rates go up there will be a lot boats, RVs, houses and pickups for sale at very good prices.

It's the path to universal basic income. It will be here before you know it.

Last fill up last year (for diesel) was 3.19, most of the season it was 3.09
Fuel this past Sunday at same station was 3.40.
I was expecting worse.

Friends daughter just graduated from college and had what I thought was a nice job offer. She turned it down to spend the summer working at a yacht club. She asked if they would save the job for her when she returns...SMH
