Hey guys officially closed yesterday on my new to me 2005 sea ray 42 sedan bridge

Nice, I hope you enjoy.

Congratulations and best of luck!

Awesome boat.

Anyone with this boat What rpm do you run it at ?

Nice purchase... Welcome

Like where electric cables exit your boat. Make sure they do not droop into the water.

Congrats...I think you will love the 420DB!

Very nice looking boat. Just a helpful hint to you, crop your picture before you post it and it will not turn sideways on you. Or you can also become a member of the site and picture posting is much easier. I don't have your engines, but most Cummins and Cats like to run between 2200 and 2400 rpm. On my boat I can hear the turbos start to spool up at 2200-2400 and the boat is usually at 19 to 20 knots which a good speed for me as far as performance and fuel consumption.

Thanks I was trying to figure out how to change the picture and I have the Cummins 450hp c8.3-m3 captain said today he was running 2300 rpm at 20knots

Congrats, you’ll love it! We have the 480’s cruise at 2200rpm / 21mph with props knocked down from 26 x 26 to 26 x 24.
Where you at in Kentucky, we will be running up the rivers from Mobile to Michigan this May
