I've owned a lot of boats and owned a charter business in PR but now I'm a newbie with this SeaRay. Never owned a stern drive before and this is the smallest boat I've ever owned at 21'. Looking to learn the stuff I don't know from the other boats I've owned. I live in MA where we have a short season.
 
Welcome aboard. The most important thing with a stern drive is to keep up with the maintenance. It would be helpful if you listed what type of stern drive you have (Alpha, Bravo 1, Bravo 3, etc.).
 
Welcome, saw your post in the WM thread, cracked me up. What you need to learn about outdrive is find a good mechanic you can trust. It’s not really a self maintenance system. Ya some here can do, but not many.

Thanks purchased a 97 sun dancer 370 last summer me and the wife love it.

Drop in Charles river in Newton take through locks into harbor doc up at Barking Crab perfect boat for that
