Here is the photo of the evo core and vesselview and I also installed some cameras in the engine room and a new battery charger. It looks like I get max of 3 years on the deka 27s.first time out this year and starboard battery bank is dead. But I am thinking I need deep cycle 31s. What do you use? .. still waiting on my interior .

Looks great and love the camera set up.

I use AC Delco group 31 batteries and will be five years this September. When i installed I also changed my charger to the same as you but the 50 amp model.

I almost did the 50 but it looked like I had to change the gauge wiring from the existing 8 to 6 gauge where the 40 amp stilled allowed the current 8 gauge. Thank you for the advice battery what model and what setting do you have it set on the charger?

AC Delco HCM31SMF are the batteries I use. I am in Australia so not sure if these, or an equivalent, are available in the US. Sealed and maintenance free so no topping up for water. Accordingly, I use the sealed setting on the charger but can't recall if I used the preset 1 or 2 profile. Need to check next time I am on the boat.

Edit: Just checked my phone for install photos and it shows I used the sealed preset 2 setting. Slightly higher conditioning voltage and slightly lower peak auto maintain voltage compared to the preset 1 profile.

Yes, I had to change breakers and wire gauge to upgrade to the 50 amp charger.

Got the sink and new faucet in this weekend. One tiny scratch I should be able to fill. Drain got held up in shipping and will go in next week. it really helps update the look.

Has anyone gone with anything like this in the cockpit? I really like the look but being in Texas, worried about the heat when it’s 103 everyday in August.

We have Corinthian...it is not hot to the touch...but we are talking the Northwest. we love it!

My port gas gauge hasn't worked since I purchased the boat. Has anyone replaced the gauge and/or sending unit? My starboard side tach also jumps all over the place. Has anyone dealt with that before? Just wondering how big of an undertaking I am looking at.

Side note. I just ordered all my new cockpit vinyl flooring, swim platform SeaDek, and all new cockpit upholstery (white with minor grey accents). I should have the new "black stardust" panels installed at the helm in the next cpl weeks as well. I am adding a 32" tv to the cockpit and finally replacing the one over the fridge with a small flat panel. Hopefully it's all done by the end of May, just in time to enjoy it all for summer!

Yes, the old owner bought new ones for me when I bought the boat as they failed the survey and I installed them. I put them in and left the keys on to run the hours up to equal that of what is on the engine. Also, pay attention to the wiring, I think they change the orientation on the new ones. But now days I really do not look at the analog gauges as I have vessel view mobile and the Merc gateway which both display rpms digitally. All of the upgrades sound awesome cant wait to see it come together for you.

Has anyone put sun pads (reclining) on the bow? The hatch windows make it kind of a weird spot. I guess just install them towards the front but might lol funny?

Sorry to just vomit questions all over here haha, I really am trying to use the search bar first. My red and green nav lights are in pretty rough shape. It’s a 2000 and they are faded white plastic. Has anyone upgraded to stainless and LED? I have looked on Amazon and flounder pounder but not sure what the dimensions are. I’m out of town this weekend but would like to get some ordered if anyone has a lead. Thanks!

The hardest part is the wire is pulled tight like a banjo string, as you change them, you have to work with a couple inches of wire, if you let loose, it’s gonna be a fight. I haven’t needed to do that upgrade, but someone posted about it in the past

How did you secure the Axiom panel? I don't see any screws.

Thanks!

Totally spot on, I had a broken wire where one of the bends where coiled up on the Red Nav light and I made sure that the wire was secured from slipping into the hole, I used zip ties and spliced on a new extension. make sure you caulk the hole very well to prevent water/moisture when you replace.

Can you tell me where you found the fluxgate? I'm in the process of installing the Evolution 150. Where did you mount the EV1? I believe the existing pump is compatible and I'm planning on leaving it for now. What did you do?

Previously, I posted the incorrect location of the fluxgate. Over the past weekend I was cleaning out the shower sump box and noticed the fluxgate was in the forward bulkhead of the same storage compartment in the cabin. I wonder what the other thing is under the dash? In any event that is where it is at and I would suspect a pain to run the wire unless you can find the fluxgate wire in the stack of wires zip tied and use it to fish through.
