Good morning, I am having a variety of issues with our boat from vaccuflush systems, exhaust soot on the swim platform, loosing gps, to minor water leaks. Any advice would be great, thank you.

Where are you located? My advice would be to find someone to manage the boat for you like a yacht service company - be thankful the stringers aren't separating from the hull!

Miami, and we have most things covered but the full service management options down here are major ripoffs.

Yeah I have been learning most of the systems, if it’s not one thing it’s the other

I also bought a L650 fly this past year .. and we had vacuflush issues .. I have a yacht manager which makes life a LOT easier but re the Vacuflush they mounted the pumps and tanks in a space that people tend to step on I had to replace all 4 of them as part of my prepurchase inspection .. but if you now own them i would find a good Vacuflush guy ... I know they have one in south Florida cause thats where my boat was ...
re the water leaks I did not have any in the upper deck area however the hull bottom had some delamination and we had Viking yard fix it I hired a Naval Architect to supervise as this was all prior to closing... .. re the exhaust soot we did not have that problem but I would recommend Charlie Smithwick with Smith/Wick they are in south Florida..
I really would get a yacht manager if you can find a good one... but the way which one did you
purchase i looked at every L650 that was for sale in Florida.. I had a large selection at the time.. but they all sold ...
best of luck with all of this ....

A friend of mine bought an L650 this year. He estimates he has 80 hours in fixing what wasnt right on the boat including leaks and the other stuff you mentioned. He does all the work himself.... definitely seems those boats are a handful
Of all the advice and funny / true lines I have seen on CSR the best was “something is always broken on a boat, you just don’t know it yet “.

Yea with a yacht that size you probably need to get it up to Ft Lauderdale into the one of the yards like Lauderdale Yacht center. Thats where you find the subcontractors that actually know what they are doing. Yes big $$$ but you get the results you want. Miami is full of scammers, take your money and do nothing. Problem right now is yards are packed with billions of dollars in yachts, I went dingying though last weekend and couldn't believe how busy these yards are. I have never seen it so busy. Good luck..

As far as VacuFlush Environmental Marine is the go to place in Ft Lauderdale, I am sure they can point you in the direction you need.

Take a look at "Elite Yacht Management" if you're looking for a yacht manager. Not sure if they service the area where you're keeping it.

American Custom Yacht in Stuart Fl. I think they were bought by Willis Group. Regardless superb service for structural repairs, coatings, and customization.
Plus their fuel cost was the lowest between the East and West coasts.
