Cummins QCS 600 with Zeus Pods
Hi,

My name is Ainsley, I live in Sydney Australia and I recently bought a 2013 540 Sundancer.
The boat runs Cummins QSC 600s with Zeus pods. The engines have 490 hours on them
as the boat, while built in 2013, did not come to Australia until 2015. Apparently it was stored in the US for 18 months for reasons unknown to me.

I am thoroughly enjoying the boat. I have had to attend to some failing hull fitting, a/c and desalination maintenance issues, but in general she is performing very well.
Engines and pods are in great shape with respective inspections and oil analysis indicating nothing lurking in either at the time of purchase.

I do have an issue and have posted a separate thread concerning the absence of the Five Forty decals located on either side of hardtop arches just below the Sundancer name. Hopefully someone can assist with that.

Great to be onboard.

Thanks.
Ainsley

Welcome aboard! There are many here who love to help out with any issue you may come up with. As for the decal's, give a Marine Max dealer a call and they probably have your year in stock. But I always say Google is your friend, might take a few try's but I found many. Not sure what yours looked like exactly. Again welcome to the forums!

I have seen many decals, badges, name plates, etc on EBay. Redid all mine from there. Give EBay a look see.
If you have shops down there that make boat names out of vinyl; take them a picture off the net and the dimensions and they can probably make a duplicate from scratch. They amazing what they can do with a pc.

Welcome to the club. I guess boating season is just starting for the summer down under.

Congratulations and good luck with the new boat!

Is it possible that the 540 in Australia, is normally called a 545/555 or such and maybe the decals were taken off for just that reason?
As others have said, welcome aboard.

Good on ya mate!
