Departments of Health get their marching orders from state government.
Here's Indiana. Looks like the rates in this state are even more favorable to the vaccinated. The death rate in early January for unvaccinated was 44 times the vaccinated rate.

Looks like that is changing in Virginia. You can thank the public schools for the push.

BTW, what about the people forced to be vaccinated who should isolate instead? You know, those with the antibody treatment, and allergens to vaccine components? Should they die for the greater good? This is not an easy one solution issue like things are presented as in today’s fix it quick society.

Sorry, I don't follow you. What is is that is changing in Virginia? And how did the schools make it happen?
I don't know of any entity that mandated vaccination that doesn't allow for medical exemptions. If someone was allergic they shouldn't have taken it and I don't know of anyone who was forced.
 
No virus except for smallpox has been eradicated by a vaccine.

I was 'forced'. Not in the typical sense but I work in cybersecurity and would have lost my job (and career) if I refused. Try to find a company with < 100 employees with a cybersecurity person on staff. Good luck. I'm sure there are a few out there but not enough to go around and would likely require me to relocate. So I could have moved back to regular IT work and taken a 50% pay cut. So yes, I feel I was 'forced'.

Oh, to top it off I work from home and haven't been in the office in about 3 years. And I already had COVID so likely had the antibodies

Fake news! The truth is if you get the jab and you have an adverse effect and happen to croak it is listed as a unvaccinated death. Until you get the booster, your not fully vaccinated. Do your research.

I never said no-one was forced. I own a defense contracting firm so am well aware of the mandate for companies in that class. The issue was whether people with an allergy to vaccine components or other issue were "forced" or allowed a medical waiver.
BTW, in my company, once we asked, there was only one individual who was unvaccinated. A five-minute conversation with his supervisor (who is a retired Marine Corps Sergeant Major) changed his mind. The person is also an Army Reservist and I think his supervisor pointed out they were likely to be a lot harder on him than we were.

The tendency to declare "fake news" just because whatever one doesn't like the answer or doesn't match their narrative is tiresome.
If someone died from an adverse effect it wouldn't show up in either data set.
You are free to research the way Virginia classifies cases and vaccination status; it's in the footnotes to the chart. If you disagree, feel free to write them and complain.
 
So, I heard today that Utah is running out of tests so the Governor declared that no test should be done just because one has symptoms or thinks one may have had contact with someone that is known to be infected. He stated the obvious that the Omicron is faster than the testing. If you feel ill, arrange a test and have to wait the three to five days for the results, you will have stopped shedding virus and likley have recovered before you have confirmation of the virus. He said that the several million tests that were ordered are not coming, I don't know if that is a political issue against a red state or not, but it is what it is. Finally, an adult making a rational policy decision regarding this virus. Just like a cold or flu, if you think you have a chance that you are infected, take reasonable precautions to keep others healthy and take care of yourself. If you have serious symptoms or underlying conditions, consult your health professional. Seems quite simple to me.

Has anyone you love tried to get a medical exemption after being told by several doctors it is a bad idea to be vaccinated. They (the people with it) don’t give it to you, then make it mandatory, after you almost die from Covid. Okay, let me know what your professional opinion is. What is your database on the results of getting the vaccine after receiving treatment with Monoclonal antibodies?

No mandates, we are in a free society. Plan to keep it that way.

I keep my status to myself, and I am pleased the Supreme Court (what kinda name is that?) was not in favor of the mandates, although I am disappointed in 3 of the judges.

I reckon that's all.
