Omicron, the sequel

Divide and conquer
As I read this thread I find that even the people who are on the same side of things are arguing with each other.
Everyone is falling right in line with what the government wants.
Which government? Russia or China? Or just the MSM?

'While the tax is unprecedented in Canada, similar measures have been introduced by other countries. Austria announced in December that vaccine holdouts over the age of 13 will have to pay up to 3,600 euros ($5,139 Canadian) in fines every three months. Starting this month, Greece will fine residents aged 60 and over who refuse the vaccine 100 euros (CA$142) monthly. And in Italy, residents 50 and older are now required to be vaccinated or could face fines of up to 1,600 euros (CA$2,287).'

True. A few countries are still doubling down, not surprised Canada is one of them.

Who'd have guessed the UK and Ireland would be some of the first to end this BS?

Sad when people like her understand it and many here don't see it...

I don’t think she had to be so hard on Flint MI…. Poor bastards are still struggling with glowing water

And seriously?…. you light weight liberals are afraid to admit ???:eek:

I have no idea who she is but that is one of the most truthful things I have heard.

Same here, no idea who she is, just saw the clip and just had to share. Who knew Bill Maher would be red pilling so many...

“Subsidizing your healthcare” - What does that mean?

Not all of Canada, just Quebec at this point, and it's not clear it will stick. Hopefully it won't.

Quebec is a Province, which is like a State in the US. There are Federal taxes and Provincial taxes.

Healthcare is taxed primary at the Provincial level, with about 20% of healthcare funding being transferred from the Federal government to the Provinces from public funds (a sharing / levelling effect).

The Provincial healthcare funding comes primarily from a specific tax on employers / companies as a percentage of payroll. Funds from other Provincial revenue like sales tax also can be applied.

The system is fundamentally good, but needs improvement. I have personal right-leaning opinions about simple changes that would make it better. User fees to reduce abuse and unnecessary visits and universally allowing a 2-tier public / private system to help unburden the public system and reduce wait times, for example.
