Hello

The Norcold fridge in my 2004 Sea Ray 260 da will not turn off. Just keep humming away.
I thought when they get to the right temp that shut down ?

But it’s also so loud at night I turn it off at the switch . I figure I may need a few one but can’t afford it at the moment so I’m trying to look at ways to fix it
 
It should never be loud. Either compressor is bad or circulating fan is vibrating or contacting something. Does it keep food cold?

If so check fan. Regardless, it should have to be dead quiet to even be able to hear it.
 
Well head quiet would be a dream for me.

The older ones did tend to be a lot noisier. Something about the kind of compressor. Newer ones are whisper quiet. As far as running constantly, it could be your temp setting is so low, that it can never satisfy the request. I'd try raising the temp setting a bit to see if the compressor ever turns off.
