Official 330 Sundancer Thread

Added cooling fans to the cockpit fridge compartment. Made a huge improvement in the efficiency of the fridge. Very quiet and rarely hear them.

Looking for some help. Our steps down into the cabin have a wiggle to them. The steps are solid but the post is loose at the top. Without removing the headliner, is there an easier way to tighten up the bolts at the top to secure the post? Thanks in advance.

Are you looking for bulbs or the whole unit? I found some online that were identical as 2 of mine were broken.

Anyone know if either of my engines are reverse rotation? 1995 Sundancer 330 w/ V drives - 454s

Purchased a 1994 330da last year. Had to pull sb engine (bad exhaust manifold). In the bilge someone wired a wire direct from battery to one of the bilge pumps. It shorted out and danged near caused a fire. Thank goodness I was on board. I found a wiring diagram on line for a 96 330da. My question is which is considered the bilge pump and the emergency pump which is which and how are they wired?

You could lift the float switch for each pump and watch which pump light on the system monitor illuminates to determine which is which or, at least, determine the working one's name. In my boat, I think the forward of the two bilge pumps (mounted higher) is the emergency pump. My bilge pumps positive terminals are wired to seperate breakers the Main DC breaker panel. The negatives go to a ground buss in the bilge.

Has anyone had any experience with 383 Strokers ? Looking at a 97 330 , recently repowered with them ??

Thank Y'all in advance.

Hi Todd,

Looking for the whole unit. Mine is discoloured. Any luck?
Sorry, haven't been on in a while. I think I got mine from flounder pounder but am not sure. May have been a supply house like Defender. It was several years back.

From what I understand they're the 6.2's with additional horsepower. Couple years ago somebody at my Marina bought a amberjack with them and loves it.

Connecting fuel line to carburetor.

1995 mercruiser 7.4 - it’s in a 330DA. Had to remove the carburetor - reattached and can’t get fuel now.

wondering what I’m missing as I feel like it’s simple. Everything worked fine before. Tried starting fluid and engine will only run when it’s sprayed in. Is there an O-ring between the fuel line and carburetor that provides suction? Or does the line just go straight in and tighten?

I had the exact same configuration in my 95 330DA. If it runs while spraying into the carburetor, sounds like the pump is not working for some reason. I'd start working my way backwards to see where you finally find fuel.

You said everything worked fine before yet you pulled the carburetor, curious why.
