FUEL PRICE WTH

Yup, we have an old (1981) 13' Boston Whaler Sport that we used down in AZ. We brought it home last October and I'm cleaning it up for sale. This cancer crap has just f'd up my balance so I wouldn't feel safe being on it. For the record, that's also why we sold Beachcomber. I just could not be on deck any more. Sad but true.
Soooo very sorry. This last winter was baaad. The wife and I both got cancer and my best buddy as well. The chemo has hit him hard, we just don't know. So far, we both are progressing fine.

If I have to sell boats (and maybe my jetski), the Whaler will be the last to go. Even if I can't use it, it'll stay in my garage hoping for a future ride.

Best wishes to y'all.

Really ?….. you’re that guy now….smarter then the rest of us?

Hell, he might be! I have no plans to get rid of my sanity just yet.
Joe will be happy to give you a thousand reasons why our fuel is so high…none will be the truth. Cut down on consumption and watch the price tumble.

Maybe not. This all isn't by accident. It isn't the war, it isn't about oil leases. The goal is to eliminate gas powered cars, boats, furnaces in your house. It's a planned price increase. We all need to promote solar cells and windmills in our backyards.

Orrrrrr, as i have said in the past, WE can all fix it the first Tuesday in November. If you are not willing, just suck it up and pay the piper.

We are $5.75 for 90 Grade no alcohol now at our club. So glad I filled up when it was $4.25, still a $600.00 bill. We are still going to use our boat every weekend. The gas is only a fraction of the $7,000.00 it costs me yearly to have a boat and a slip.

5.19 for diesel A1 in Fort Myers delivery...
over $6 & 7 at local marinas ..... oh well..

My friends suck….. not one has ever offered to pay for fuel.
But I have to tell you a couple friends never let me pay for lunch or dinner… I am good with that

youre not alone. No help on the hard. No help on the water. That’s ok. I went into this gig eyes wide open. I love entertaining on the water.

FWIW -- I've heard some truckers in this area saying it's not worth it to start the truck once diesel hits $7/gal

We're around $6.50 now on land
I read that Pilot and Loves are warning their customers that they will likely be out of fuel in less than 2 weeks. So there may not be fuel to start it with anyway…

I sure hope that’s just internet BS. With this world now though anything is believable.

I think we have the same friends. If someone ever does, I just laugh and pay myself. No non boater will ever understand this expense and why we would want to even use the boat ...

No diesel and we’re royally fkd.

Marine Diesel was $5.95 today for me today. Where I fill up told me they have 3,000 gallons left at that price then they expect prices to jump $1/gal. Probably before next weekend.

my yearly use is around 3400 gallons. I ask if I could per pay for 3000 gallons two months ago. AirMark said no way!

Unfortunately there is not really an efficient hedge.
There is a NY HARBOR ULSD FUTURE but 1 contract is 42000 gallons....
