Cage match, here’s your sign…

I went fishing and caught a whopper.

I thought I was ignored. Geesh...you start a thread to start sh** then you don't even stick with what you started...

LTD had it right....

Where did she pull in that slab? I'm guessing 24 pounds or so but hard to say from a photo. Getting to be a rare fish these days. We fish off the West Coast of Vancouver Island and we still see a few Springs (Kings) in the 30's.

We were fishing on the Columbia River a few miles upstream from Richland, WA. We'd been out there about 4 hours before she hooked it. After struggling to get it into the net, which took about 20 minutes, she said "that was harder than childbirth!"

I don't recall the weight but IIRC it was about 28 lbs. The fish was REAL thick and tasted REAL good. Lots of good salmon steaks out of that beauty.

We see Columbia salmon as they migrate South. They have a distinctive head compared to our local fish.
Those in the high 20's are scrappy fish, for sure!

"Ding ding ding, end of round one. Whats the score Howard?"

We seem to be tied two posts apiece, but @Juliery and @El Capitan are holding strong not taking the bait.
But maybe just went to bed early?

@firecadet613 goes for the cheap political shot
@MonacoMike goes for his typical response nothing interesting there
@Blueone moves ahead going for the logical argument, not a bad move...

@techmitch doesn't say much but takes the win in this round with creativity.
And gets an extra point given his tag line is "What you put up with, is what you will have"

Let's get into round two!!!

@firecadet613 - buzzzzzz. Wrong answer, Reagan Republican. If I were a Democrat I would have called for getting you banned from the platform. The ignore feature is a personal decision I can make about you. You are likely the dock guy that seems to always throw out his opinion even when nothing to do with the conversation. And you of course think the thread is about me and my "ignore" choices. That's of course because your post's are always about you being right and everyone else is dumb.
Oh, wait! @firecadet613 I'm sorry have I miss associated you? Perhaps you're a Dem in a Republican body? You should seek out re-assignment therapy quickly.

@MonacoMike let's step it up falling behind

@techmitch surprised you joined in, but as always credit where due, how to say much, when saying little.

@Blueone absolutely right if it's just a discussion in the Tiki Bar everyone free to go at it in an open exchange of information.

It's the constant bickering in threads where a member has asked a question. He provided information, some of it a bit vague and uncertain, some of it specific. We should answer the question or at least stick to that subject. He never mentioned towing over weight or insurance. "At or near" Given the info he provided and what I found on his model likely not over his towing weight. And the only solid information for the trailer would be on the VIN label. After that I'm sure he can do the math and make his own decision.

But some people have to start doing the "what if", and then argue about it on the OP thread.
Want to discuss insurance responsibilities let them start a thread on that.

Okkkkkkkkkk! Let's RUMMMMMBLEEEE!!

;)

What the F@#$ are you talking about? Or is this just a limp wristed attempt at humor?

I hate it when I’m in the drive thru and someone in front of me orders the filet O fish, it always holds up the line.
That's because they seem to cook it on the surface of the sun. It is the only hot item at McDonald's that actually comes out hot.

I read a pro tip somewhere, order fries at McD’s with no salt, they will be hot. The next move is to ask for salt. Might have got this from Firecadet. LOL

Whether or not your insurance will cover the injuries you sustain from getting in an internet forum cage match.
Love it!

So how much do you think I could get for being outraged or offended or having a feeling hurt in the cage?
Maybe a blanky and a soother?
Like the woke Millenials?
