We got to meet another member this weekend, we had@Brett H raft up with us for the afternoon. Nice to meet him and Kimberly and see his beautiful 55 dancer.

@carterchapman, what a great day for a meet and greet raft up. Couldn't have asked for better weather. We had a very nice afternoon hanging out with you and Susan at Eldridge Bay. That 58DB of yours is one sweet boat.

BTW, this GA boy learned something that day. I was telling one of my new dock mates, early that morning, that I was heading up to Eldridge Slough (as indicated on Navionics), which I pronounced basically like "slaw". He laughed and said "what?", ya mean "slew". Apparently they don't have those at Lake Lanier where I did the majority of my prior years in boating. Well, ok then, "slew" it is!

I learned that term when I moved to here 12 years ago - on the Georgia lakes it was always a “Cove“!

We have "hollers" (hollows) and coves. No sloughs.
