I didn't see this posted. Yesterday I got an email from the SR Owners Club about changes to the program. (Email was signed by Matt)

-No more earning points
-Existing points must be spent by Dec 31, 2016
Honestly I never found the points all that beneficial anyways so not that big of a deal

SROC will experience a relaunch at the FLIBS 2015 and the new focus, according to the email, will be on celebrating, connecting and empowering owners.

The email also states the club will focus on current owners and the ownership experience and less on buying a new boat.

I applaud SR for listening to owners. We'll see what's unveiled in November.

I don't know if I ever accumulated any points but they were of ZERO value to me. It's nice to see SR redirecting their focus to current owners. IMHO WE are the ones who are really selling a lot of boats for them when we take friends and neighbors out for rides.

I received this email as well. It will be interesting to see what the future holds...

I like the new SR Owners Club... with my HIN it gives me the original date of sale, my serial numbers for my CAT's etc.

At past boat shows the desk with the hats had a printout of all members. You could give them your name, they would look it up and do a checkmark that you got a hat. I never had my SROC# with me.

You had to have already registered your boat.

I notice this statement on SROC page "A place to get access to exceptional technical resources, world-class events, exclusive member benefits". What are the technical resources and benefits? I mean, the serial numbers for my engines are on the engines so I wrote them down, what other 'exceptional technical resources' are available?

I meant through the online store, with your sroc number they send it free. Searay doesnt show up at our little rochester boat shows unfortunately

I signed up for the owners club back in November and don't remember ever getting anything w/ my member # on it. I've also looked at the website and don't see it shown there either. Anyone know where I can find my member #?

This overview might help some...

A lot more details about SROC official events coming soon.

I met Tim Schiek, President of Sea Ray Boats at the Seattle boat show last night.... Great guy, very approachable and open minded. I shared with him a little about CSR and more specifically the SR owners website. My personal opinion that I think it's great and the buzz for the most on CSR is that it's being well received here. They had the new 510 Fly and would love one for Christmas....
