Calling all 360 DA owners

Windshield Wiper Motor Access? Does anyone know where the access is? I'm going to swap the arms but I'm thinking if I do I might as well swap the motors also. Any hints? Thanks in advance guys.

John...I think there may be access above light fixtures in the cabin.

Thanks Jeff I'll poke around

PROPS: what props are people running on there 360.... currently running 21x23 4 blade cupped nibral props.... seems to be running very high rpm wise... cruise at 3300-18kts, 3600-3800 23-24kts... seems really high ... anyone running anything different? or do I just need to recon and balance these this winter?

That is about the RPM ranges I get with the same props. My typical cruise is at 3600 (21-23 kts) and burn about 32 gph.

Hello John,
My W.W. motor access is on the main cabin ceiling. Just remove the speaker cover & speaker. I had the starboard side motor shaft seized up. not the greatest access, but it's a boat!

Hi all. Just bought a SeaRay 360 (395 European) 2002 year, am new to SeaRay having owned a smaller Regal for the past 7 years. I have a European spec. boat which has two pin plug sockets for the European market. The plug socket in the galley is not working and before I start looking further I just wanted to investigate the socket to make sure no wires were loose or corroded. Has anybody out there a similar European spec and if so how were you able to remove the socket from the cabinetry. I can't see any screws holding it in place from the front and wondered if I had to remove something from behind or if there were any clips that just hold the socket in place within the cabinet.

Any advice would be really appreciated.

Alan

Congrats welcome to the family!

Hi Alan, I have had my socket go dead for no reason then by the next weekend we come back and its working. So I have no idea on it, but I have changed the socket out to one of the new USB 110V sockets and just took off the faceplate and it comes right out with two small screws one on the top and one on the bottom

Finally took delivery of our 2002 360 Dancer. Our previous 240 Sundeck was called Fix'n to Go. We are probably rolling with Fix'n to Go II for our new addition. We took delivery last week. Spent the week getting settled and cleaning to our standards. Did quite a bit of shopping for all those odds and end items .... hoses, hose attachments, CO detectors, snap tool, snap lube, cleaning supplies, etc. We are so excited about the boat and our new lifestyle. We have a great dock on Lake Lanier and have met several new friends during our first weekend. Awesome.

Was able to handle the boat okay in calm winds. A bit nervous about handling in wind yet.

We just put ours up for the 128 day countdown :(

Hello all, new to Sea Ray but not new to boating. Last boat was a 3075 Cruisers, made many great memories on her. We should be splashing our new to us 360 next week, very excited!!! Already have a question for our board gurus, does the 360 stereo system have a factory installed amp and if so where is it mounted? I'm trying to get my stereo shopping list completed for my first winter project. Appreciate any input.

Congrats!!! Its directly behind the electrical panel on the left side wall. And it will fit 3 the Fusion 1200's lol!!

Thanks John or is this Holly, lol. One amp is factory for the cockpit speakers? So happy I found a great forum for the 360. We looked at the 380 but really liked the 360 better, just everything we needed in a slightly smaller package.

John LOL, yeah I like having the biggest option hp in the smallest boat, they used the same hp option all the way up to the 42's

I doubt it, I had to go with the spacer rings to get the Wetsounds to fit. The only place I could find them was on eBay and they werent cheap.

One problem I have with the boat is the hatch actuator. It will lift the hatch but sometimes it stops and you can hear the teeth chatter. If someone lifts up on the hatch while the button is engaged it will go back to raising the hatch. I called Sea Ray to see if there was a rebuild kit and the parts catalog does not show one, so I asked about how much for a new one. The parts guy told me its over $2000. Anyone no the manufacturer of the unit? I know they are not that much from the OEM or they can sell me a rebuild kit. This is not critical yet but its on the radar for repair. Thanks for any input.
