Suggestions for new GPS combo unit for 240 Sundancer

I have had my "new to me" 240 Sundancer about a month and would like to upgrade the electronics with a new gps/plotter/ fish finder combo and a new location. The location of the stock one on the helm is impossible to see (lower right hand side below everything and is 17 years behind the times. Any suggestions or mods other folks have made would be great. Thanks in advance for any help.

I had a 270 and mounted a nice Garmin on the top of the dash which allowed me to have a larger screen in a location that I could easily see it.

Thanks Larry .. that seems like best location and know trying to decide what brand and what's an appropriate amount of money to invest.
