I'm wanting to make my new to me Searay like new. What are member thoughts on the best dual Horn replacement?
I want dual, chrome, and a good hearty Horn sound.
Thanks very much for any experience or suggestions!!

I'm in the process of replacing my horns and I found a great deal on chrome duals on eBay for around 70.00

good to know that.

Ordered! Thanks BBY!

It's going to be nice to throw those original pukey horns away.

I am looking for two chrome plastic trumpets ends that came originally on the twin stainless horns.
If anyone has some or knows where to look would be great

Wow, those new horns are loud! Touched them to a battery and they scared the sh$%t out of me..LOL :)

Velooce, I'll be changing these out sometime this winter. You area welcome to the old ones.

Pay for shipping and they are yours. Send me a PM if you want them.

LOL, I did the same thing! The G/F even came out of the house, and was like "WTF?"

I was wondering-- do the horns recommended above have a deep loud marine type note- or just a loud car/ truck type sound??

some of the horns I have heard just don't sound nautical and I am due for a replacement.

Loud, 2 note trumpet sound.

Any luck on where to find the ends to the trumpets? Diaphragms and spring?

I thought about replacing mine as well but mainly because I don't like where sea ray mounted them. I find tgey impede my access tobthe foredeck being attached to the boat at the skinny part of the walk around and worry about tripping over them while trying to get onto the bow. Any good ideas on a better spot to mount them or thier replacements before i stubb my toe.

I bought an Ongaro electric dual trumpet set. Its all stainless steel and VERY loud. I mounted mine or the radar arch and ran wires and a relay to wire into the OEM horn circuit. Mine is actually a white powder coated version that they don't seem to make any more. Here is a picture of my mount location. The link below is to an ebay add for the short version of the trumpets.

My 89 268 doesn't have an arch that would be a great option for mounting if I did off of all decks and traffic areas thanks for the link on the horns
Ongaro makes some of the best horns around. There are a *lot* of cheap horns out there that can tempt you (I'd say anything under $100 is suspect, but it's your call). Don't skimp on this. They're either: not loud, sound bad, fall apart, corrode, or stop working after a few years. The Ongaro Deluxe Dual is the one you want. Short or regular.

Beautiful sea ray it looks like you are tied up to the main dock at Hindsons Marina our home port . I saw you near me on the map .We are out on Gulf 23. Nice cool day today I might get out with the children and missus today for an overnighter. Being local has it's advantages hopefully it'll be a quiet evening in the bay

Yup, we have been at Hindson for about 17 years now. I was on the main dock, but I moved over to A dock this season. More space between boats so I can get my dinghy out between.

Wow long time we were there the year before last and now again. Took a year off for baby Caleb's first summer . Mostly doing day trips or short overnighters this year to break him in . Hope to see you around
