Ike, if you ever need parts for that Merc 165, I have a full sterndrive from inner transom to prop. I picked it up for the lower unit but didn't need it. The mechanic was wrong. Always looking for trades. The upper gear unit is great. The gimbal neds to be completely rebuilt. The steering arm is tight. I figured seeing as Oregon is in the Pac NW, we might be closer than shipping.
