I used white cotton fleece rather than the plush when I redid mine. Also put a layer of foam in under it and made for insulation boat sound and temperature.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3huD0oz1xps

Re: A Florida based 1987 390 Express Restoration - Leaking Shower Drain
Keep at it.... You will get there. If it's any help. When you start to feel this way, you are closer than you think to your way back up with the project.
Mine is Event Horizon. But I spell it HoriXon becasue the X can take the place of a Z and it makes for a conversation starter. As for the name. A grade-B horor movie came out called Event Horizon and I just thought is was a great movie and got the idea to name the boat that. How ever. There is...
We can boat year round here In Alabama, no ice on the water but big cruisers and pleasure boats get put up about the end of October.
We all get out our fishing boats from then till spring. I think I have had the last run in my 270 becasue the water gets pulled down on our lake and the water...
Why do you want all that noise....
Ugggggg
They make a valve to switch from Y to direct.... That may be the way to go.

I never restored it, just made it water worthy. However,,,,,,,,, this winter I am going to be restoring it back to 1968 condition. It has lasted about 4 years but I used cheep...
Yep. On Lake Martin you will find rocks where there were no rocks and land where there was none.
That on top of the water temps going down. It's becoming Fishing Boat weather. Not big cruiser weather.
Time to get out the NCII and FISH!!!! YEA!
To answer your questions about the fuel, Denatured Alcohol from walmart or Home Depot. But they are right. They are a Beach to get pre heated and going.
I got a propane 2 burner camp stove that I set on it's lid and use that if I "MUST" cook inside. Cool it down, fold it up, and put it away. 1-2-3
Good luck. Hubbey is in NJ... Shipped a Generator Fex-Ex to him today for our House up there.
I think we may have a indoor basement pool and convertible roof when it's all said and done.
WOW, by all means,,, Get it out of the watter. Unless it's a steel 200 footer, I would not dare leave a glass boat in the water during a category storm.
I think it's the weight of the Head, and galley that makes these early 80's dancers list to the right. Mine and yours are not the only ones I have seen doing it.
I have the same list. I went to Home depot, got 4 bags of play sand, and put them in the under steps compartment in the rear berth... That took care of mine no problem.
Still in the bags BTW... LOL
