What kind of options does the baot have? did the 1st owner do any mods?
how does the engine & outdrive look?
The 195 beam is only 3" longer than the 185. we have no problems with 6 adults on board.
Hblock, thanks for the info…
I have heard that it will flatten out the wake some, but we are just amateur boarders. We don’t do anything too crazy, well not on purpose anyway.
And the Admiral would like the smother ride…. And what the Admiral wants… the Admiral gets.
For what its worth, I have the 190hp in a 185 Sport. I run a 23p High Five prop and i hit 4800 rpm before WOT. it seems that WOT is around 5200 rpm, but I did keep it there for very long. The whole shot is great (adding smart tabs soon) and I can get to the low 50s on the speedo with two people...
The fire extinguisher port should be just above the bench seat and it will have decal stating what it is.
Can you see what it looks like from the bottom? If I had to guess, I would think they are rod holder too.
I have the rubber bumper, but the snap on the walk-through window has dug into the gel coat by the control panel (when the window is closed)
I didn’t know about the adjustment screw, I may have to take a look at that...
My walk-through window does the same thing. I haven’t really paid much attention to it yet, but I would be very interested in some ideas to keep it from getting worse.
Nauticus makes an addapter that allows you to rais the tabs. Check out this link http://www.nauticusinc.com/pr500.htm
But I aggree with Firerooster, your outdrive should hit before the tabs.....
They are supposed to close that park during the fall/winter for renovations.... hopefully that means better ramps..:smt038
I will try the spray next time I'm out
It looked like sand over there, but I want sure. Next time out I will try the steeper ramp and get a site on the east bank with better beach.
I had another thread on here about bunk slicks because the shallow ramp has been such a pain.
let me know next time you go, maybe we could meet up.
you might try this

I would not recomend pulling a tube on a tower...... I have seen it done, but not on my boat. we still use the ski ring on the transom when we are pulling tubes.
We were at Rocky Creek. We had a spot just East of the Northern boat ramp. I have been told not to use the ramp on the west side of the park. its a shame because that is a 3 boat ramp. and I'm told it is a little steeper, the North ramp is very shallow.
We like Yagua better, but it is closed...
