These are what I used. They are not USCG approved for use in a gasoline engine compartment. Nor are they endorsed by any association or regulating body for use in a marine environment. However, since they are waterproof I felt comfortable using them in the engine room

Copy that. If anything changes let me know.
I replaced all of the fixtures in the ER room and all lockers in the cockpit. That's why I have some of the old ones laying around.
I had this issue. It was the hull-deck joint right above the swim platform. I re-sealed it when took off all of the rub rail and did the entire joint all around the boat.
Added cooling fans to the cockpit fridge compartment. Made a huge improvement in the efficiency of the fridge. Very quiet and rarely hear them.

The seal is very similar to the original. The original was flattened and did not seal very well. The seal sticks to the underside of the hatch and seals against the lip that is molded in the cockpit floor that goes around the engine compartment. Yes, it did help with reducing noise.
Yep...
Replaced the head sink, drain, faucet/shower, and shower holder. I did have to get an adapter to go from the drain to the overboard hose(Sorry, don't have a link for that. I think I got it at Home Depot).

Replaced insulation/sound deadening material and seal on the engine hatch.
I used HVAC foil tape to seal the edges of the insulation.
Getting the old glue off was difficult.
Had to do a lot of measuring to get the seal in the right spot. The old seal never landed on the molded lip of the...
You can get the valve covers off without removing the exhaust manifolds. Use a 3/8, 1/4 drive swivel socket and a long extension. You will have to remove the coil bracket/relay wiring and move the oil cooler line out of the way.
It's tight, but doable.

All is linen Tweed color.
The carpet runners are original from the factory and are in great shape.
The windows and visor(front) are custom made and in good shape, but could use a good cleaning. The color is a little off from the linen tweed. The only rear piece is the slant back. The back...
I have a good windshield from a 1974 240 SRV that I dismantled. Before I scrap it I thought I would check to see if anyone needed it. Free. I am located in northern Michigan.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that we have crappy custom camper canvas and I don't want to go by that.
I would like to get close to stock so that when we order a new bimini piece from Great Lakes the snaps are close enough to line up with the new canvas.
BTW, does anyone have an old bimini I...
I need a favor.
I had my arch re-painted and the holes for the snap screws got filled in and I can't find them. Could someone please take a picture of the snaps that are on the arch, preferably with a tape measure in the picture for reference.
Thank you.
Check the knock sensors. 3100 is about the RPM you'll get with fully retarded timing, which the computers revert tó when they dó not get an inut from the sensors. . Not sure if they throw codes when they go bad or become disconnected. With all the work that was just done the wires could have...
My brother in law has a couple of 97 7.4 motors that were completely rebuilt last year by a local machine shop and are ready to go. Fresh water cooled. Not sure where you are, so delivery may be pricey.
Let me know if you would like more information.
