Yes the heat is an issue. The only issue. I spray mine down with the aft shower head to cool it off. Other then that I'm very very happy

no harm. I have a bow thruster on mine so it is easier to dock. Love my 390 but alas, its never big enough. Looked at the 44 but if I move up I want the 48. Love that 48 but it may be out of $ range...oh well

YES. i had it strripped, plated in brass and dipped in chrome at a repuable palce in SOCAL and it looks like crap 1 year later. Stainless definitly!
