So I will be taking on this project in the near future. Are the front Panels from the DE461 able to be installed on the...

NespoJoe I once removed a deck hatch for the bow of a 370 Sundancer. I took off all of the trim and removed all of the screws. Then I took a thin wire (like piano wire) and kind of sawed under the edge and cut all the way under the caulk all the way around the hatch, and then lifted it right...

no cam lock on ours. That was later models. I think they found that the spring cylinders could not hold the load over time. I am trying to figure out a way to add a cam lock to mine and my buddys.

Good evening SC, I removed my helm seat from the base plate that is bolted to the floor last winter. It would not swivel, slide, or go up and down. Everything was froze up from 20+ Years of not being used. Original owner set it and left it. I completely tore it apart. Actually it’s pretty simple...

Garmin turns off when I start the engine

If you Have all of your waypoints saved already a route plan can be completed in the amount of time it takes for the engines to warm up, and the lines to be pulled, unless you leave the dock immediately without warming them up.

Garmin turns off when I start the engine

I’m with Bill collector! There is no cost and no work involved with turning on electronics after engines are running. I have always done that. What is the advantage in having them on before start up? You don’t use them until the boats moving anyway.

I have been in the forward storage area several times. The shower sump has never overflowed and the entire storage area is bone dry. I think I am going to cut the wires on the Pump just aft of the shower sump as gallf1 has suggested. If that works then I will replace the switch. Probably the...

mrs Robinson, Keep us posted on what you find here. I have the same issue going on. But not until after engines have run for a while. Systems monitor reads Forward Bilge emergency pump and an alarm. Can’t find a drop of water anywhere. I hit the reset button every time it alarms, and it quits...

Cost of labor to replace a/c

It was a different model. I thought $540 labor was pretty good I wasn’t arguing with it. If you have ever done any kind of work on your boat then you know everything takes a lot longer than you would think. $2000 for new unit installed was a great price.
