Wondering if the advent of mobile facebook has affected your use of the old school forums
Guess life has turned to instant gratification and mobile is quicker and easier.

Well it finally happened..
Our marina is the target of thieves. So far over 600 gallons of fuel has disappeared off of our dock alone
300 out of 1 boat and 85+ off the port side of mine
it appears the thieves pulled into empty slips next to the boats and drained the tank on that side

I purchased a "cheap" sounder unit since my old 3400 Lowrance died to replace it with.
I need something with enough power or frequency to shoot through the hull as I want to do a
glue in install. The company I bought from said theirs would only shoot thru 1/2" solid glass max

Not having radar arch can be a challenge for cockpit lighting so here is my solution

Camcorder Battery with built in switch Ebay 14.00
Added a quick disconnect to the LED strip for removal of the battery for charging in the cabin...

I was talking to our marina office about some rules of etiquette around the docks and at the gas dock and pumpout docks.
I mentioned the ramp etiquette sticky we have here and they asked if I could put together a list for the other areas of the facility so they could post them in the office and...
The old 340 got a professional buff and wax job last week and OMG what a difference.
I didn't think she was that bad but now she looks like when Capt Rusty sprayed the gel on her in at Merrit Island.

Went to the BIG boat sport and travel show in Indy yesterday and was quite disapointed
in the Sea Ray dealers showing. I wasn't expecting any big cruisers at the pontoon and bassboat
show but out of probably 30 boats they had only 1 Sea Ray...a 270 SLX.
The bad part was really thier...

As some of you know my dad passed away this summer and with
the holiday season coming I really miss the old man.
