Gosh Mike I am so very sorry to read of your predicament. Have not had time recently to use our boat much, let alone visit Club SeaRay so was not aware until today. However, really pleased to hear you're making headway with it!!! Keep up the good work and I wish you everything you wish yourself...
Thanks for the input. I see we're in the middle bracket and have enough on board. Will keep our eye on the ER one. We had it checked again and was told it's still okay. Thanks again!
Update on extinguisher saga: The survey report states, "renew or recertify all fire extinguishers". We can't find anyone in our immediate area to check or recertify so thought we would buy new. However, can't find anyone who knows what number to replace it with:-( I even called SeaRay who...
We had a survey done and that was what they recommended. I tried to get someone local to recharge it but they said they don't do them anymore, so not sure what to do now..................
Hi everyone,
Apparently, we need a new engine bay fire extinguisher and not sure which one to buy. Our boat is a 2006 SeaRay 340 and the current one we have I think is a Halon automatic which I don't believe is used any more. Does anyone have any ideas please? Really appreciate any help and...
So sick of the "lookie-loos" who hire boats they don't know how to drive. They come and cruise down the canals to look at the rear of homes on the water and give out so much wake it bashes our boats against the pilings.
Welcome to Florida!!! One of the main reasons here you see turn signals permanently on is because the drivers have untreated hearing loss and can't hear the "tick" of the signal to turn it off. You see it all the time here, most annoying.
Thanks Mitch, trying to semi-retire so have more time to use the boat soon too. We built a new house and what with working too and a builder that could have been better, (ended up managing most of it personally), never had any free time for anything. Won't be doing that anymore! Thanks again!
Thanks guy's! Will look at FP for new and also gaugesaver.com. Haven't had time to be on here for awhile, but just knew you guys would have the answer. Thanks again!!!
Has anyone repaired their gauges at all please and if so where? Our 340 gauges have become a bit hard to read. Just wondered if these types of repairs are a success or not, or should we just bite the bullet and spring for new. TIA.
Our son's in the USCG and was conducting a training flight in the Gulf of Mexico the other day when he had to conduct his own SAR. 20' sailboat way off the coast , engine out, radio out, mast broken been drifting for some time . When he managed to make contact found out he didn't even have an...
WOW, that's just incredible. Fantastic job with the modifications. Proves that if you have the money nearly everything may be possible.
