Waiting lists for over 30'... so it's a monopoly here. It's around $12 per foot per month (open moorage) if you pay a year in advance. The boathouse is more... for the 40' is $8k annually. The rates go up substantially for 50' and up. Fuel discounts are out there but they're small.
Silly isn't it?
If that gurgling noise was from water in the head / cylinder... time is short. Water ingestion is the #1 killer of marine engines. Best get in there asap...

1. Is you slip a single-boat slip or do you share the slip with one or more boats?

Got my SS Delta style from these guys http://www.marinepartdepot.com/
It arrived before they said it would and their prices were great... I see they have a sale on...
Just a few comments;
* Macerator pumps don't 'lift' well so if it's mounted above the tank, it will start pumping more easily with a higher level in the tank.
* If the tank is overfilled and floods up the vent line and it has a carbon filter, if they get wet, they plug. When they plug, no air...
Sorry for posting in the 290 thread fellas.
Not really the right place but I thought maybe if some of you make a change it's interesting to see what others do.
Cheers.
Cincy... just shy of 200 hours this year!
We did the same... took a little time out to ponder the next move. There's so many boats to choose from. The 290 was a great boat however, with 5 of us on board more often than not... we needed more space! After looking at hundreds of boats and shopping through an entire season... this suits us...
Yes I still have the rear sun pad insert and stand. I took some measurements a while back and I think it would fit in a 2' by 3' by 12" box and about 25 pounds for shipping. I can confirm those numbers. It's going cheap... it's just taking up space to me.
I'll tell ya'... I've looked at a ton...
Unfortunately this is a trait that the smaller Sea Rays have. Both my 240's did it... and they were both bravo 3's. The 260's do it as well... but the 280's and up don't seem to.
Hey Cincy,
I've never had it on the boat so... I think the only place to store it would be the mid cabin. There is no 'place' for it. That also means I don't have any pictures of it. It's a 'fold in half' base with legs and a cushion that sits in front of the rear seat. It probably doubles the...
Well... I sold it. Someone came along and gave me the right offer so that's it. There's five of us now... growing kids and the 290 wasn't big enough. Now... my 290 friends... if you were moving up to a bigger boat, what would you buy? I was looking at 320/340's but have started to like the idea...
