Just launched for the season and was checking on everything. Turned on the head system and the vacuum pump never stops running. No vacuum when I step on the pedal. Water does stay in the bowl though. I’m assuming duck bills? Below is a pic of my system, I’m assuming they are in the white PVC...

All, I installed the auto trim tab system a couple years ago. Most of the time over the past couple years it seemed to work fairly well, but maybe not as perfect as I would have liked. This year its giving me a little trouble. I'm not sure if this is me, or if there's something else wrong...

hey guys, any thoughts on where to look first? As soon as I flip the switch, the fuse blows. I removed the pump and cleaned it up. Hooked it to a battery to test it and it still works. It did feel a little tough to spin by hand when I first removed it, but spins freely now. Thanks, mike

I just had a similar issue with a dead batter and when I put my hand on the red wire coming off the alternator, I found that it was broken at the connector. Easy fix, thankfully, and definitely something worth checking.

Just wanted to report back. I replaced the pump....very simple install.... And the tabs work perfectly once again. Guess I was one of the unlucky ones with a pump failure.

So now that the boat is waxed and ready for,the season, what soap do you guys use for regular cleaning....that doesn't remove the wax?
