Thanks! I can't find the specific manual on tier website but they seem to universally control this by this function " press and hold the 16/9 key and then press the CLR(WX) key to cycle through 'International, USA and CAN. I believe that must be the problem! I will try this and report back.

A solenoid for the solenoid as it were. Ok, I looked it up in the manual for the engine and read the troubleshooting tips and I think you are right as it says if you want to try 'jumping' the slave you need to use 8 guage wire. Thanks for the input, I will check it out this weekend. Mike
