I am going to be selling my 50 ft Sundancer and I am posting to see if anyone has a use for the lift. It can fit any boat up to 15 foot beam. My boat weighs around 50,000 lbs. It runs on hydraulics and is maintenance free except a grease gun once a year. I have been lifting my boat for 4 years...
Ringing in from the Belhaven, NC. area. Will be heading down to Beaufort/MH for the seafood festival Columbus day weekend. We love the trip down there from here.
Hello Rogman, Is that the size props it came with? I have the 600 HP with 3 blade 26 x 26 props and that is the max I can do for the HP I have. With you going to a 4 blade 26 x 26 you may not have enough HP to get on plane. Just a thought if you have 3 blades on there now.
We are up here in Belhaven but get down your way a few times a year. We go to Ocracoke 5-6 times a year also, Washington, NC about the same. We will keep an eye out for ya's!
Voice that opinion. Most people on here actually have to earn their own money to pay for their boats and therefore most of the opinions you see reflect that. Did you have you boat given to you by an uncle that passed away?
My boat will not run full RPM or even get up on plane with barnacles on it. They make a huge difference. The first time I had a fouled bottom on my 27 ft I thought I had major engine troubles untill I pulled it out of the water and saw how many barnacles it had. Cleaned them off and was just...
I just changed the fluid after a rebuild on the BW Velvet drive 5000 series. There is a drain plug at the very bottom of the drive just behind the coupling on the output shaft. It came out fairly easy. If I remember it took a 1/2" wrench and was a square head. It only took 2 quarts to fill it...
Your have to take out the couch section to get to them. The straight part will come out but it is like a puzzle. The first time I did mine it took me almost 2 hours. But after you get the seat out the base is screwed in with back panels on it. The screws come in from both sides and some up...
I just replaced one about 2 weeks ago on a freinds boat with the same genny. Went to Advance auto and no one knew what a ballast resistor was so i had them look it up for a 1972 Dodge Dart. Then they pulled it up and it has worked fine with that one.
Thats about right. We are comming from Belhaven which is about 82 miles from Beaufort. We will not take the Intracoastal and will be navigating straight from Beaufort inlet to the Massonboro inlet wich should be about 2 hrs across. We will be taking the Intracoastal from Belhaven to Morehead...
