One more question, being in the south, I am not familiar with dry storage during the winter. I am really intrigued by a few 480 DB boats that are for sale in the great lakes region. I spoke with a broker yesterday and was told it would be very unlikely to get the boat out of storage until April...
Thank you for the feedback. I completely agree with you regarding the 480 timeless lines. I too am looking for a 3 stateroom bridge boat and really like to looks and styling of this boat. Anyone have an opinion of the Cummins QSM11 "Dry" motors. I have read some opinions including Seaboard...
Thanks for the reply. Yeah, the decommissioning and commissioning is expensive. And then I hear stories about gelcoat damage as many are put together with 5200.
Thank you for the reply... I have seen the one with Temptation Yacht Sales online. Looks pretty clean. Quick question for you... I noticed you have the Cat 3196 motors, any issues or comments about them. Thanks.
Hello all,
I am currently without a boat and in the market for a early 2000ish 480 Sedan Bridge to boat on Lake Travis Texas. Having a tuff time accepting the transport costs but willing to do so for the right boat. Also looking for a fresh water version or super clean well maintained salt water...
Funny,
I have never heard about this motor having a reversion issue... My 2001 380 has 7.4L Horizons, perhaps the Horizon upgrade addressed this issue? Can anyone tell me where to find out more about this?
