Follow up on wet lower step. It has been bone dry for more than a week after a vigorous wash and rinse of the boat. I think this rules outs outside leaks. There is water in the fresh water tank and I have continued to use the sink in the cockpit. I have not used the sump all summer, so it...

A follow up - washed the boat yesterday and then went out for a 4 hour cruise. Low step was dry 4 hours after washing. I have a busy week so I may not be back to the boat until Saturday, but if the lowest step is still dry, that should rule out leaks in the hatch/windows etc.
