Other lake north of Atlanta and I pay $3700 for a 30’ slip. All are based on slip size not boat size. $3 a month meter fee + usage at normal rates for power. Free water. Lifts are an extra $200/mo but you can purchase one and install it like I did.
I don’t throw in any tools, but I do just toss in my regulator and grate off the Magma grill at the beginning of the season to get it over with. I’ll then eat a raw hamburger for good measure.
Bummer. I almost had to start my July that way. I dropped my drivers license at the Atlanta airport last week. Showed up at the rental car counter in Salt Lake and found out. Had to Uber around for a day, but amazingly it was found, turned in, and fed ex had it to me the next morning...
I have always seen sharks. Had a bull in the canal behind the house in Largo two weeks ago and the bastard kept grabbing the mid sized amberjacks the nine year old was fishing for. Still went swimming-just not in the canal-because that’s nasty.
I too have problems with the heat. We generally limit our time to mornings or evenings. I agree, once water temps hit the 90s your just getting wet, not relief. I suppose this is payback for not having to winterize and being able to boat almost year round.
Jeez some people are awful cautious. Just got back from 15 days in the keys and water is what you do. You swim in it, snorkel in it, and dive in it. Then you throw chum off the back of the boat and try to catch things that might eat you on purpose. Go for your swim.
Here are some pics of the sub. Pretty easy-drill hole, drop it in. Pardon the filth. Spring cleaning is first on the list. Second pic also shows where I mounted the inverter/charger.
I rarely use the bow filler. I think the 4th of July is about the only time it’s used. Constant kid traffic running back and forth jumping off the sides and stern trying to outwit each other would lead to that thing being destroyed.
Don’t qualify in the smarts or millennial departments but I have often wondered this myself. It’s not just Sea Ray but the entire boat building industry. There would be a tax advantage by writing off unsold inventory at the risk of higher losses and the company being sold-whoops. Maybe you...
Boy I try to refrain from these conversations, but...
The BJ in my mind is significant because the person hired to have the highest office in this country stood up and lied in the court he is supposed to uphold. Any one of us would have sat under a jail for awhile after pulling something like...
