I find it the most frustrating and terrifying part of boating. I have a single I/o with an Alpha 1 and it is sometimes pure comedy for my dock neighbors to watch, I have aborted a dock attempt 5 or 6 times in a fast running river with wake and wind. I liken it to parallel parking a Ferrari...
Pompanette/ Bomar are the OEM I believe, I replaced the screens on my 250 last year. Their website is http://www.pompanette.com/home the part number for the 95 250 is P100-04-RETRO, I am unsure if this is the same part you would need, came with the gasket included. $25 per screen, and it was a...
Agreed, and, as I have a 250, and I only 1 arm there is no chance I am cramming my fat arse, all 230Lbs of it) down there to mop up a little bit of water, I would rather stay up top and use the boat for what I bought it for :).
I am jealous, my marina is still in the process of repairing ice damage to the docks and have not started moving boats around for launch yet, hopefully in a month or so I will splash, but, until then she is still indoors under wraps :-(
Looking at the transmitter I am guessing it's a DJI phantom, not sure if it's the 2 with the gimbal camera or not, but the video quality is great!!. I have a parrot AR drone that I am going to try using this season for some boating vids.
Is it an optical illusion, or is the drone really that far out, its a nice vid, and, pretty quaint marina, but, I am not sure I would be too comfortable sending my $1K+ drone out that far above water :)
If speed, handling, and the power to embarrass a lot of "supercars" is on your list, you can't get much better than a Nissan GTR, it may not be "exotic" but, it is fun. I used to own an R33GTR back in Europe, and, it was tremendous.
While I am hoping to get more time next year, the weather has been a factor in the fact that I only put 7hrs on mine this year, I spent more time cleaning it than I did using it :)
