I replaced the filter on my starboard trans last night. My question is what holds this filter assembly in vacum? Or is it the cover and lower housing compressing together when the allen bolt is tightened? Just want to make sure I did it right.

I have a 4.5 Westerbeke Gen in my 2002 310 Sundancer. I removed the Zinc there is nothing left on it. There is no way to get the new zinc in without removing the heat exchanger. There is no room between the mounting platform and heat exchanger. Anyone have the same problem and any good suggestions
