I am trying to restore an engine room bilge to pristine condition. does anyone know if the compartments drain into bilge pump areas? there is oily film and I would like to hose down the engine room with simple green any thoughts?

So what was the final out come do we use straight 30 or 40 like rotella T? I have 10 gallons of Rotella T 30 can it be used with haming the engine or should I go and purchase the 40
