I have mine on a Venture VATB 5920 trailer, which is one of the "shortest" aluminum trailers for the 240SD and the overall length of boat and trailer with outdrive raised is just under 31 feet.

??? I wouldn't ask if I didnt need them,right?? With two little kids you dont want all the extra exhaust fumes around the transom on a deck boat and there are SIGNIFICANTLY more without the bellows. Full bellows on a bow rider or deck boat is a no brainer ... unless you are a sniffer ...

I totally agree. the cockpit on the 270SD is only minimally larger than the 240SD. Most of the "additional" length is in the head and storage compartment and the fact that the swim platform on the 270Sd is "counted" into the length. Both teh 240 and 270 are within a couple of inches of each...

The old 270 SD has almost identical dimensions to the 240SD; is a bit heavier and can be had with teh 496MAG and is faster than the 240SD when equipped so ... so to me the 270SD is kinda the hi-po 240 SD
