Any interest in making more? Sounds like we have a few takers on here. Or I’ll pay a premium to just make one set for me! I’m dreading the fights to slide these in and out of the tracks all season.
Yeah that was the main reason for the new VHF. Tied in well with the MFD to give me AIS in and out. And added a remote speaker for it on the arch right by my right ear so I can hear it over the stereo...
Ah! Haven’t thought about that. I’ve had the monitor give me a temp alarm on the gen a couple years ago when the impeller went out. I assumed that was from water temp but guess it was engine temp. Might just have to get one now. Thanks
I thought about adding a second MFD below the existing one. Would be tricky since the surface of the dash isn’t level across these two panels. But I think I could build it up by layering in dash panels where needed. Anyone have dual displays? Curious if you really use both? Map on one and night...
I have a fusion 770 just outside of the picture beside the sliding door. I put a remote station for it at the helm. You can see it in the pic just to the right of the throttles. So I’m covered there.
That alarm isn’t a bad idea but I’m pretty sure there’s already alarms for raw water temp in...
Replaced my old VHF. Now I have this hole to fix. I could just replace the panel and have it blank. But also considering having a cubby hole or glovebox with a hatch made out of starboard.
If I replace the panel I feel like I need to install something in it. But I don’t know what I’m missing...
I have a crack in this this panel. My local canvas shop says the thickest her can get is 60 mil but thinks this might be thicker. And he wants $1350 to do it in 60 mil because he has to order a minimum order of 3 large sheets. Does anyone know a canvas shop I can send this to that might have...
I was afraid someone would say that. I’ll stick with the plan. Glad to hear you’ve done it without any problems.
Now… to find those breakers…
If you know where to order them please point that way. Thanks!
So I had one of my ER blowers go out. The two installed are the yellowtail inline type. I was told these move more air and are quieter. So I thought “ok let’s upgrade”. Now that I’m into replacing the first one I’m learning that these draw more amps than the breaker will allow. They draw 11 amps...
Well my fear has come to reality. I had to relocate due to tornado damage at my marina a few months ago. And I had to move somewhere I knew was very shallow. I’m on a reservoir that raises and lowers to generate power. Today they lowered too much. I’m about 10” out of the water on the starboard...
I’d love to see some pics of this setup. I’ve been wanting to do a 2 screen upgrade for a while now. I have a 01. Been trying to figure out how to fit two in there.
And now you have me really wanting to do it with is AR features. Been googling about it and now I’ve gotta have it! Thanks a lot! Lol
The alarm still sounds. Just can’t read the screen. And the $ isn’t a problem. It’s finding someone here in Nashville that’s qualified and willing to tackle the re-fit. So far no luck. It if I can find a replacement sea ray display panel I can swap out myself.
Also consider taking it to a tv...
With our sea rays getting older and older, is there still no replacement for the Sea Ray Systems Monitor screen that’s plug-n-play? I’m aware of the Maretron conversion. Im not willing to tackle that. Any better options?
Is there somewhere out there that can restore them?
