My question is could this have been used to power the ac cycling unit ? mine doesnt have that option installed under the galley seat but wondering...

Hi - Does anyone have any pictures of their life raft mounting on a 280da.
Looking at getting a new 4 man life raft in a canister and looking for places to mount the canister somewhere near the swim platform.

I already have the sea fire engine shut down facility onboard - I think one of the previous owners...

Hi - I have a 2005 single diesel 280da or 315 in europe.
One of the previous owners has replaced the extingusher in the engine bay with another type which isnt wired into the sea fire EIRS black box under the helm.
Can anyone tell me what sea fire extingusher size / type was installed ?

Hi - I have a 2005 280 sundancer - I have found under the step bin in the cabin water in the bilge area where the shower drains into.
can anyone point me in the direction where the switch is to drain that area or if there is a breaker switch that may have popped.

Hi - I have found my portside navigation lamp has blown - I undid the screw on the top and removed the stainless steel cover but the red plastic housing seems solid.
is there something I am missing or should know as I dont want to break the housing ?
I believe the the light is a attwood 3800...

Unfortunately not - I would assume the american market would have ac as standard as most parts of america is warm where as the u.k gets pleasantly warm in the summer but cold in the winter so it was only offered as an option

thank you form your reply these are only ideas at the moment as I am nowhere near the boat to plan the install properly.
the exhaust will have exhaust band wrapped around it to prevent high heat and fires the outlet will have this thru hull fitting which is manufactured for exhaust...

The type that is similar to ebaerspacher ones.
Has anyone done this already as I am looking for advice on where to fit.

Thank you for the replies.
I don't know why but I am now thinking of maybe installing a diesel heater.
This would keep the area under the galley seat clear and is good storage space - also the unit would be placed out of the cabin so very minimal noise.
