Found it, and it's dead. The parts manual lists it as a 3.3GPM Shureflo with a SeaRay part number 1128172. Any idea of what the current direct replacement for that pump would be?
2005 420 DA. My 110v outlets in the cabin on the port side are dead. Port side system switch is on and I have good power from shore. The GFI in the cockpit is hot, and the cockpit fridge has power, but the cabin outlets near the panel (over the settee) and in the master stateroom are dead. I...
We lost fresh water pressure about half way through the day yesterday. The tank has plenty of water and the pump is on at the DC panel. What should I check first? Is there some sort of demand switch that is separate from the pump? And where is the pump located? Thanks!
My anchor light pole snapped in a gale a few nights ago (2005 42 Sundancer). The original pole was about 36 inches long, and I would like to replace just the pole, since the base is fine. Any ideas on where to find a replacement? Thanks!
I have the original Clarion stereo in my 05 450. It has the head unit in the cabin and two remote control centers, one at the helm and one at the stern. I have never had any problems with it until today. Now, the only button that is functional on the head unit is power. Pressing any of the...
Hi all, the AC side of my salon freezer in my 2005 DA420 has died. The freezer works fine on DC, but not on AC. The AC side of this freezer plugs into a standard 120V outlet underneath the cabinets. I want to add an AC to DC converter into the AC line so that the fridge will still get DC...
Hi Bennett, I sure would like to know the model number of that Isotherm unit. Think there might be an ID plate inside of it that you could shoot a picture of?
Cheers, Chan
Like JAM420SD, I, too, and looking to replace my cabin freezer. I have searched "freezer" on the thread, here is a summary of what I have found, but if anyone has more current or accurate info to add, please jump in.
Replacement options:
Dometic CRX-65. $590, but DC only (12 or 24V), and...
I think I may have found the problem...
This battery is only 2 months old!
SWaterhouse, both alternators were recently rebuilt. The meters show them putting out strong current. But I understand how a weak battery could toast them.
We are still on the original 2005 charger, I am thinking...
Hi there Brewster. I appreciate you taking the time to post back on this. As mentioned in the first sentence of my second paragraph, all 4 engine cranking batteries are new. We have also recently replaced the thruster batteries (which solved that problem). The only battery with age at this...
Which battery bank feeds the house on our boat? I am guessing starboard. The reason for my question:
We recently replaced our 4 engine cranking batteries. Since then, I have twice run down the starboard side so low that the starboard engine would not crank. This was on mild days when we did...
Blueone, I have the same flooring in mine and it appears that my drains are not clogged, I see water flow when I spray the cockpit down. But I will empty it out tomorrow and look closer. Thanks.
My back locker, under the rear (sternmost) cockpit seat, is a wet moldy mess. Rainwater gets in there and it never seems to dry out. Does everyone else have the same problem? I could install the camper top every time I leave the boat but that is quite a pain. I keep floats and fenders back...
I have an 05 420DA with original Raymarine electronics. I have played with various display settings, course up, heading up, etc, but can't seem to get my heading to consistently display straight up on the MFD. I have noticed that my MFD and my compass show the same number, but my autopilot is...
