I belive the bottom part is more of trim piece on hinge. Hammer out the top pin and you should be good. Had to take ours down when my 3 year locked herself in!

Thanks- This a long haul with a company that primarily just moves boats. Although the price was steep, it was fair. I Think I will throw him some $ has he has been great about sending updated and pics along the way.
I have had a few boats hauled over the years and don;t remember If I gave them a tip. I have my new to me boat getting delivered tomorrow. Do you tip the semi driver or not?
Thanks
Ryan
I got the same chrome post- agree, way better than OEM posts used. I also put two coats of sealer on mine as well, hopefully it holds up better than Teak Oil.
i think your right, apparently not many out there.

I just purchased an 08 40da and found out the cockpit table is missing. Does anyone know the table size and pole length?
also if anyone has a lead on where to find a nice teak table, I'm all ears.
thanks
keel to top of arch is 12.11"
I'm haveing an 08 40da i just purchased shipped up in a couple of weeks. All electronics need to taken off as well as props.
cross country boat transport llc. is who i used in the past and will be hauling this boat for me. i shopped around and they are reasonable.
yup, same experience here. mine lasted all of an hour. total junk. I purchased a Milwaukee M18 battery unit, absolutely fantastic. Not having to deal with a cord and less weight, makes it worth the price. battery life is a compromise, but they last last as long as my arms can take, so...
Yes, you can run AC/Ref. on #1 with Transfer switch on.
sounds like maybe your gauge is now working- or there was no draw at the time.
under the floor hatch in the salon is where I keep mine
