Not boating related but I feel many of you here might have some pertinent and valuable input. Natural Gas has just been run into our development and I’m curious about your thoughts. We live in a high risk area for Hurricanes and think it might be a good investment. Any brands better than others...
So with all the "non essential" places being forced to close. Do Marinas qualify to stay open? Any first hand experience? So far so good with my marina here in Alabama. We just drove past a car wash up and running and was thinking if it's ok for them, why not us?
Not sure if this has already been posted, but it's not surprising really. Not with all this mess going around. https://www.tradeonlytoday.com/manufacturers/brunswick-will-suspend-all-boat-and-engine-production?utm_campaign=TOT Newsletter...
So has anyone here actually ever won anything? Silent auction, raffle, 50/50, Lottery! Well we did, and we can thank SeaRay and Four Seasons Resorts for it. A little background...I, like I'm sure many of you, spend a great deal of time on this website and the SeaRay website. Configuring your...
I’m having trouble with this and I’m sure that I’m just overlooking something. I get that it is a 19 pitch (19P) but what size is it based on the numbers stamped? It’s a 3 blade aluminum. Thanks
Curious how many total members are here? Years ago it was up to 10,000 Anyway to find out? Also who's the oldest active member. I'm at 10/4/2006. I'm sure there are some before that. Like many, I found this site after Jeremy shut down SROC back in 06. Before that we were just a group being...
I just remembered how much I hate boating during busy holidays. We were almost hit by some dude in a rental pontoon who wasn't watching where he was going. Witnessed another guy in a 50 footer almost kill some elderly couple on paddle boats, and then a family of 14 (most of them under 10) on a...
Are you allowed to have reverse "itis"? We just ordered a new 19 SPX outboard. Should be delivered from SeaRay in a few weeks. Long story short...After the company I worked for went out of business we decided to leave NJ and head south to somewhere more affordable. First order of business, get a...
Getting the itch to get back on the water but this time smaller. Would like to stay in SR family and want a simple OB. Anyone here have this boat? Looking for more info. Would love to see pics of select package with the upgraded interior. Sadly the SR brochure for their SPX/Sundeck/SLX lineup...
As far as bow riders go, are certain models equipped with a larger head compartment? Downsizing from a cruiser but need to be comfortable as well. Vacuflush is a must have. Looking at model years 2003-2009. On line it appears maybe the SD's are larger than the SLX's ? Thanks, Brian
Remember this? Just cleaning up the house in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy and came across this. Thanks again Jim for finding a home for us wayward souls ;)
I wanted to start a thread about portables NOT for boating ,but for other applications. We have been very lucky compared to our neighbors here in NJ, but I will not go through another storm/power failure without a portable generator. I know that Jim here at BOE/CSR won't screw us when it comes...
Sold in 3 weeks. My 260DA sold in 2. There is certainly a market for clean, well maintained Sea Ray's. To be honest I didn't think it would sell so fast. Market must be getting better since I also noticed that the NADA values went up a lot since last year. What to do now, I'm lost.:smt089
Sunday was the first, and hopefully last, time I saw a boat sink. My stomach is still upset. By the time I grabbed the radio for help the Tow Boat and Coast Guard were already on their way. Boat sank in less than 10 minutes. Luckily nobody was seriously hurt. Here's the...
