So I was updating my Sony head unit to a blue tooth model that was suppose to put out 45Wx4. I noticed a clarion amp behind the radio powering to speakers in the cockpit. It was a 30x2. The speakers on the clarion amp were seriously louder then then the head unit speakers. Is this normal or is...
So my 98’ 330 didn't come with a lock on the sliding door to the cabin. It has the latch just the key part to lock it is missing. Anyone know where I can get a replacement or parts for it?
Thank
Where is the tank vent at? If it's blocked then what your saying is as it pulls water its fighting a suction and when it shuts off the suction pulls the water back? If that's the case then just opening the fill would let me know if that's the problem, right?
I just bought a 98' 330DA and my water pump looses its prime from the tank, which then caused the pump to continuously run. If I turn on a faucet I still have pressure and then the filter bowl fills and the pump regains its prime. But after sitting for a few minutes it looses its prime again...
Is there much cruise difference between the ECs and DAs with same power? I’ve always eyed the 410DAs with diesels but a 410EC with 7.4s came up for sell close to me and it looks incredible. Just not sure I’m big on gas motors especially 7.4s. I had a chance to use a buddies 93’ 440DA with...
Well, spoke to soon. After owning the boat for 5 seasons and it always being turn key, the sea trail that went down on 11/9 at 10am in 30 degree weather was to much for my port engine and I now have a drivetrain issue. Just perfect.
Everything I read on the contract is tht I can pull the plug any time I want. He had 10 days after we both signed the agreement to complete survey, mech test, and sea trial. Closing was suppose to be 21 days after the agreement was signed.
Original agreement date was 10/15 but we did some...
I don’t believe there was any clause about that. I figure like any other broker looking to make commission they’ll let them take as long as they want. Wrong time of the year for that.
Called broker today and he’s off, unreal.
Still waiting to find out if my boat is sold. Contract we signed gave the guy 10 days to do all his test and that ended Thursday. Called my broker on Friday and he said the mechanical test was done Thursday and he’s waiting to hear the results. I was told last weekend that the MT was suppose to...
Like I said, we would only use it when everyone else is blowing there horns which is right after the sunsets and the National Anthem is done playing. It would be nice to replace the stock horns with it but thats to much if I'm just trying to get someones attention. I know they need about...
That’s what we hope to do is make some mini vacations out looking. My boat should be sold by this weekend, if not then I got the cart way in front of the horse. I’m pretty confident it’s going to sell, I met the guy at the launch one day when we were pulling out. His wife and him loved it so...
I’m not ruling out GL boats, that would be my obvious choice of course. However, I’m not limiting my choices to them either. I really just want to find what my family likes and go from there. Worst case scenario I have to ship one. I figure southern FL would be the average distance.
Been towing boats for close to 15 years. Here mine sits for sell. Ready to drive to the lake and have the boat already in the water. Will I miss this one? Yes. But I’m ready to slow down and enjoy the boat ride with family.
I never considered that it would screw my hearing up being right above me. Good point! Also it would be in addition to the normal horn. I think the only way to control the loudness is to limit the pressure.
Up at PIB in the summer they play the National Anthem while they lower the flag at...
I have a Nathans Airchime that I got a few years back and had it mounted where the spare tire went on my truck. Thinking of mounting it on the radar arch when we acquire a Sea Ray. Anyone else do this?
I have no doubt we will love a 410 or 450 DA. The only issue I’m having is figuring out what engine package to look for. I’m getting a lot of good info from Frank and for the most part I don’t think there’s a bad one as long as it checks out by a certified Cat Mech or Cummins Mech.
Can’t wait...
We know all to well the complications of getting dockage around PIB. Luckily we have a good relationship with the Dockmasters on the public docks and we are members at the Crews Nest too. I always make sure I have a something lined up before I trailer 2.5 hours.
What marina are you at?
