Just had the boat shop replace my dual throttle base and cover on my 340.I also asked them to sync the outdrives. Did they need to run the motors with water muffs to do so? I forgot to ask them that question.

Do you see any problem with using Woodys boat soap with wax on my Sunbrella covers as I am washing the boat?

So I just waxed my boat.What product should I wash it with throughout the season. I do not want to strip the wax.I plan to use the Woody’s after I wash it.

I am also replacing all of the snap studs.Do I need to put a dab of life seal on each one of these holes before I screw in the stud?

Also what about the bottom side of the rub rail. As I was polishing the boat I noticed a lot of this sealant is needing to be redone.

I kind of look at it this way. An airplane without maintenance records is 100% worthless. A boat without maintenance records is worth less. Don’t ever skimp on maintenance or parts and keep a log in a manila file so when you want to sell your boat everything is documented.
