We went from a bought-new 2015 Cobalt R5 to a very lightly used 2016 Sundancer 330. During our buying/selling experience with both, I have a few observations:
1) Mid-range price cabin cruisers tend to sit on the market for a while.
2) Outboards are currently the hot-ticket (although not for us)...

I would let them know that you are considering retaining legal counsel. If I had all that go wrong on a new boat, I would be standing on someone's desk at Sea Ray.
We have the Axius on our 330 and it works really well. I was able to back 100' down a narrow channel to dock in a 20kt crosswind yesterday, despite it being the first time I had driven the boat since purchase.

We looked at the newer 260s just for kicks and were amazed at how well Sea Ray used the limited space. Too small for our usage, but I wouldn't be afraid to do a long weekend in/on one.
