I have a Fisher canvas winter cover for my 1987 340 EC that I usually tasked the marina to apply for winter. Not to hard of a job for a couple of beefy guys with access to a boom, but is there a trick to applying that heavy cover on by yourself?
I have the same boat and also added a Clevis pin to the outside interior corners of the floor of each seat base to keep it from sliding back and stressing the 3 nut attachment site
No, I'm talking about black streaks from canvas snaps. Also dirt that runs off the foredeck in just that one spot that stains the hull below. Erasers don't work.
Has anyone tried using clear polyethylene sheeting (not pvc graphics wrap) to protect your perfectly polished gel coat from black streak staining? Any stain removers do a poor job of washing it out and seems to remove wax in the process.
FYI to all 87 Sea Ray owners with Oyster White Gelcoat. Spectrum no longer offers that color in paste patch kits. You can only get it in quarts or gallons.
I did, but they don’t have what they say is Oyster White, and I’ve read on this site about sand and Arctic white. Which one was offered with the red accents and graphics?
Sea Ray is impossible to contact about product questions. Does anyone know what the white hull color was called for an 87 340EC with burgundy graphics and accents?
My 87 340 EC originally came with burgundy and mauve colored graphics. The mauve vinyl stripes are no longer available on the aftermarket. Does anyone have a source, or has NOS they would like to sell?
