I went to start the genset and found the battery dead. I thought my 3 bank charger had gone bad but upon investigation I found that the third bank had never been hooked up to the gen battery. Were they never hooked up or did I discover that my boat originally did not have a genset?

Love the new badges. I’ve been wanting to do the same. How do you remove and install them? Are the originals just epoxied on?

Any tips or tricks on how to check the ‘95 V-drive transmission fluid? Heat up to operating temp? My manual doesn’t say much...it also states Do Not pull the port plug, which had me worried since they’re installed in reverse. Is the port now starboard or is the port port? Yes there are sticks on...

Ok thank you, I got a bit worried yesterday when I saw it. It makes sense that it would crack if you cast a pipe into fiberglass.

Has anyone else noticed cracking of the fiberglass around the engine exhaust outlets? Engine temps are 160F during normal operation, 170F during cruising speed. 1995 model

I have a small water stream from your dripless seals? I wipe it dry and have an immediate trickle. The shaft is dry so it must be coming in from the bottom. I ensured the hose clamps were secure. Any ideas or experience with this?

They should yes. There are fuel selector knobs in the engine room that you can select which tank the engines will draw from.

My old boat went through this. I replaced distributor cap and solenoid and one of the two solved the issue.

Anyone know where to buy the helm warning system? The module at the helm that shows if the bilge pumps are on, high engine temperature etc. The module was unplugged and missing on mine when purchased.

Very strange. Did the output have adequate water flow once you got her running? Wondering if the seacock is clogged. I know my waterline is just about at the genny/waterheater tier so it’s hard with how tall the bowls are

Same thought as dldix, probably need some impeller maintenance. I also remove the strainer cap, open the seacock and let the bowl fill before cranking. It’s slow as it’s near water level but it helps.

Anyone tackle the infamous sticky cabin sliding door? Seems to be the top track that gets hung up while moving. I’m tempted to install new gliders this season but can’t find much info online.

Fresh water cooled is not similar to a car radiator system. There is a seacock(s) in the bilge that supplies water to the engine. The water travels through the tranny cooler, engine etc and discharged through the exhaust manifolds. This means you must winterize your boat in the winter so that...

Anybody know of a good online synthetic teak source for a ‘95 330DA? I know material is of abundance but a pre-made template would be great!

    ‘95 330DA Mercruiser 454 shake at idle

If you were fine at first I’m thinking you must have hit something to have chipped or slightly bend the prop that you only feel it when it’s spinning outside of idle speed. A simple feel test with your foot would feel large imperfections

Can anyone help tell me where this aft sun pad goes on my new to me '95 330? I've tried every series of snaps and can't find its home. (It's not the aft table seat cushion)

    Kohler 6.5CZ Won't Start

I have a '95 Kohler 6.5CZ with 440 hours that upon purchase had a new fuel pump installed. It ran for about 5 minutes until it sputtered out and died. From then on, I have to give a slight dose of ether to get about 1 minute of run time. It does the same whether it is hot or cold so it couldn't...
